In this piece from Vanderbloemen Search Group, common myths as to what make a successful leader are challenged. The author recalls her own childhood when her peers would tell her she was bossy until, as she grew up, she was told this part of her personality showed she had leadership qualities. However, as she entered the workforce as an adult, she realized these qualities didn’t mean she should immediately become a leader.
