Signium New Zealand Celebrates 40th Anniversary

September marked the 40th anniversary of the establishment of SIGNIUM New Zealand by Maurice Ellett. Registered initially as Executive Search Group Limited, a company name that clearly identified its business services, it has been recognised for its high-quality services, value-adding strategic business advice and senior executive appointments throughout the country under the SIGNIUM brand for the last two decades. In the early 1980’s it transitioned from the top local boutique to being the New Zealand representative of Ward Howell International Group, took up the global name, and, through Maurice’s representation on the global Board, established international visibility. A key member of the WHI Group governance team who led the rebranding of the Group to SIGNIUM, Maurice is recognised as a leader in the New Zealand executive search and recruitment fraternity.

Stephen Ellett joined the family business over 12 years ago and, together with Maurice has ensured the pre-eminence of the SIGNIUM brand in New Zealand. The company is regarded as the go-to organisation for the appointment of senior executive managers, strategic human resources advice and its quality appointments to the non-executive boards of leading public, private and not-for-profit organisations.
