Russell Reynolds Associates Announces New Member of its Technology and Industrial Practices
Russell Reynolds Associates, has announced that Mercedes LeGrand will join the firm as a member of its Technology and Industrial Practices with a focus on defense-related technology companies. Mercedes will be based in the Washington D.C. office.

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Mercedes was a Managing Partner at Watermark Strategic Advisors, a consultancy connecting emerging technology companies with federal government buyers. At Watermark, Mercedes educated clients on regulations and process, advised on marketing and pricing strategies, provided access to growth capital and advised on merger and acquisition scenarios. Mercedes also worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she served as Acting Director of Strategic Planning for the Department of Homeland Security’s Preparedness Directorate. Prior to that, Mercedes worked at Friedman Billings Ramsey, an investment bank based in Washington D.C.
Mercedes received her M.B.A. from Columbia University Business School and London Business School and her B.A. in government and international politics from George Mason University.
