What beliefs limit leadership advancement for women in today's global business environment? In this data-driven virtual event, we examine and challenge the myths that perpetuate gender inequity in leadership. Presenters Anne-Marie Paiement, PhD, and Allison Howell, MS, will discuss personality research that dismantles common misconceptions about women in leadership.

Drawing from a global database of personality characteristics of men and women executives, we'll explore concrete data that challenge prevalent myths about women's ambition, decision-making, stress tolerance, innovation, and more. This discussion will provide evidence to break the legitimizing myths often used to prevent women from obtaining and maintaining leadership positions.

Key focus areas will include:
-Leveraging global insights to advance gender equity in leadership
-Exploring the role of individual differences in leadership emergence for women versus men
-Exploring how cultural norms and structural support shape leadership opportunities
-Championing a new generation of women leaders by embracing individual differences

This session is designed for talent management professionals, executive teams, and industrial-organizational psychologists who want to enhance their understanding of evidence-based approaches for advancing gender equity in leadership.
