Leathwaite Spend the Day Planting Trees for Charity
Leathwaite is proud to join forces Trees for Cities for the day in London.
Organized by the Leathwaite Community, members of Leathwaite spent the day with Trees for Cities maintaining the trees around Silvertown, London to increase canopy cover to help clean the air for local residents. The trees will support habitats and food for urban wildlife and bring splashes of color to the estate throughout the seasons.
Trees for Cities is the only independent charity working on a global scale focused entirely on planting urban trees, inspiring children to grow and eat good food, while providing volunteering opportunities to bring people together.
