The Offer You Can't Refuse: From Authenticity to Responsibility

The unprecedented challenges of today: economical, climate,
healthcare, mobility...enforces the need to put people, customers and employees center stage. How can a company involve its customers in the solution to these problems? In a world where digital ease is the new norm, customer expectations go further than the ease of use. Solving actual social issues and being a partner in customers' lives will be the guiding principles for successful and thriving businesses of the next decade. For customers, your clients, the fusion of these elements together constitutes the offer they can’t refuse.

Disability Inclusion: A Valuable Conversation

There is a global disability inequality crisis. 1.3 billion people live with some form of disability—representing 17% of the global population. This is the largest minority group worldwide. How can businesses access a market and talent pool equivalent to the population of China, while enabling people with disabilities to thrive in all areas of their lives? Currently only 4% of businesses focus on making jobs inclusive of disability.
Caroline Casey, founder of The Valuable 500—a global collective of 500 multinational organisations putting disability on the business leadership agenda—aims to radically transform the business system through the power of the collective. She’ll share insights on the business imperative of disability inclusion and how disability inclusive organisations have brand, talent, reputation, and bottom-line advantage over their peers.

Innovation in Recruitment: A Business Perspective

The pace of change has never been faster. From the rapid shift to hybrid ways of working, to an increasing focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion to the ‘great resignation’ and the emergence of the hidden worker, HR leaders have been called to quickly lead companies and their people into the future on many fronts.

Those who thrive will be those who are prepared to think and act differently and use the best in new technologies and people analytics. Is automation, machine learning and artificial intelligence “the answer.” How does it help drive innovation and in what ways? Accenture prides itself on innovation and removing barriers to finding non-traditional talent. This is aligned with their commitment to diversity and inclusion worldwide. They also “practice what they preach” within HR.

Leaders & Teams for a Hybrid Era of Work

Developing “hybrid-ready” leaders and teams who can adapt to a reset in the way we all work together—and preparing them now for how work will be both managed and distributed going forward—is a top issue on the minds of leaders right now. A hybrid approach to work means a shift from stability, consistency and control to one of high tolerance with ambiguity and dealing with complex situations in a virtual world.

What are the behaviors needed to successfully integrate hybrid working practices? How will well-being need to be addressed across organizations? What techniques can help ensure clear dialogue and encourage idea exchange and innovation? Tom Cassidy from Working Voices will share with us his observations on how to best build hybrid-ready teams and leaders.

The Next 10 Years: Why & How We Can Be Optimistic About the Future

A wave of challenges is upon us—climate risk, geopolitical conflicts, and the rapid rate of technological change. 'PermaChange' is the new normal and 'business as usual' is a distant memory. Yet despite the increasingly dystopian buzz in the media, history shows that over the long term, the future is always decided by optimists. And it is always a crisis that catalyzes a new golden era. In his talk, Gerd will describe the key challenges and opportunities of the next decade, sharing why we should be optimistic, and showing the best ways to boost our future-readiness. He’ll explain what this all means for leadership, talent and skills, and the future of work and business.
