WittKieffer Announces Adam Burns as Principal in Interim Leadership Practice
WittKieffer, a leading global executive search firm dedicated exclusively to organizations that improve the quality of life in healthcare, education, the life sciences and the not-for-profit sector, today announced Adam Burns as a principal in its Interim Leadership Practice. Burns brings considerable experience counseling clients in the healthcare industry on their various leadership needs and will offer a unique and nuanced perspective to solving organizations' strategic talent challenges.
Based in Southern California, Burns will provide his interim service expertise to clients across the U.S., with emphasis on the West Coast and Southwest. In this role, he will leverage more than a decade of expertise in placing interim leaders who offer clients leadership stability, insight and creativity.

Prior to joining WittKieffer, Burns served as division vice president and leader of client partnerships for a national executive search and talent management firm. In this position, he supported healthcare organizations across the U.S. in filling immediate vacancies among leadership, physician and advanced practice roles and also provided recruitment support to fill positions on a permanent basis. Burns also held the role of division vice president for the Western U.S. for the same organization and was focused on delivering interim and permanent leadership solutions to health systems, hospitals, physician groups and post-acute care providers in 10 Western states.

Burns holds a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona. He previously served as a board member and sponsorship chair of HIMSS Southern California, where he focused on generating sponsorship revenue.
