Stanton Chase: Asia Leads Expansion of Already Exploding Commercial Transport Demand
Stanton Chase finds the aerospace and defense industry is experiencing high demand, both on a commercial basis and opportunity in defense, security and space sectors.
The commercial demand is in response to the 500 new exploration sites throughout South America and the northern rim by the oil and gas industry. The demand is for air transport capable of handling the large crews needed at exploration sites up to 200 nautical miles from shore. Commercial demand also stems from the increased demand in air travel.
Stanton Chase anticipates a boom in unmanned aircraft vehicle activity outside the United States due to policies and capabilities in other regions. For example, India has launched a 10 year plan to spend more than $100 billion on military modernization. India is not alone. Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand are increasing defense spending by more than 300% over the next 10 years.
