RosExpert: Russian CEO profile

Research on Russian CEOs, conducted by RosExpert and Korn Ferry, showed that Russian leaders are equal to the international profile of a successful leader. The report was developed to define specific strengths of the Russian managerial style and develop a profile of a successful CEO for the Russian market.

The report finds that the behavior of a Russian CEO is in part an answer to the demands of coworkers and the public, an authoritarian stereotype. The behavior of a CEO is also due to Russian social order, which is dominated by the “administrator psychology.” Under this social order, current resource allocation is a greater priority than creation of management systems.
