Vanessa Stack Joins Johnson Partners
Johnson Partners is excited to announce that Vanessa Stack has joined as a Partner where she leads the Public Sector Practice and joins our CFO and Financial Services Practices.
Vanessa’s appointment represents an important step towards achieving its vision of becoming the leading independent board advisory and executive search firm in Australia & New Zealand.
Vanessa brings over 15 years of executive search experience within the financial services and public sectors. Working across both sectors, Vanessa brings a particularly deep specialization in the areas of finance and commercial leadership, strategy, infrastructure and asset management.
Prior to Johnson Partners, Vanessa was responsible for building the CFO and Public Sector practices at Boyden, successfully appointing CEOs, CFOs and other leadership roles across government agencies, major Australian financial services institutions, fintechs and industry bodies.
Vanessa has previously been a Chief Operating Officer and Practice Leader for two leading selection businesses within the Australian market. Her early career was spent at KPMG following the completion of her Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) at UNSW.

Vanessa also brings a deep track record of appointing many of the region’s financial officers. Her expertise will augment our market-leading Financial Services Practice which itself has appointed several of the region’s most influential CFOs.
