Vanderbloemen Welcomes Sutton Turner

Vanderbloemen Search Group introduces the newest member of the team, Sutton Turner. Sutton will be joining the team as Vice President of Candidate Relations.

Sutton Turner combines 23 years of business and ministry experience in his role as Vice President of Candidate Relations. Prior to joining Vanderbloemen, Sutton led five different businesses across three different countries as CEO, starting three of those from scratch and growing them to large, sustainable companies.

Sutton also has significant ministry experience. He joined the staff of Mars Hill Church in Seattle in 2011 as General Manager before being promoted to Executive Pastor, Executive Elder, and Board Member. When Sutton arrived, Mars Hill had a weekly attendance of 8,500 over nine sites. During his time there, the church grew to a peak attendance of 15,000 across five states and 15 locations. Mars Hill also had a weekly podcast audience of over 250,000.

Because of his experience at Mars Hill and what he learned there, Sutton is passionate about seeing churches have healthy and loving cultures led by healthy and loving leaders. Sutton has extensive experience with churches and nonprofits in the areas of culture, governance, organizational design, and growth strategies.
