Stanton Chase Washington, DC Office Welcomes New Director
Ruth Sorrells Strengthens Team in Nation’s Capital
Stanton Chase, a global retained executive search firm, has appointed Ruth Sorrells as a new Director in its Washington, DC office. Sorrells will strengthen the office’s focus on Technology, Media, and Public Affairs and will broaden the office’s expertise in Nonprofit Boards and Financial Services. Jeff Perkins, Managing Director of the DC office, said, “We are delighted to add Ruth to our team. She brings a breadth of industry experience at executive levels, a relentless pursuit of excellence for clients, and an intuitive sense for the right fit.”
Sorrells serviced major accounts in the talent industry for over a decade, including Legal Search. She has held executive positions in Technology, EdTech, and Business Process Outsourcing and was brought in by investors to build a Cybersecurity Awareness startup. Her areas of expertise include Insurance, Automotive, Legal, and Pharmaceutical. She served as a Governance executive at the American Red Cross, directly supporting the Chairman and National Board of Governors.

She earned her B.A. from Haverford College and an MBA from the College of William & Mary, Raymond A. Mason School of Business.
