Stanton Chase Expands Into South Australia With the Appointment of Karlis Antons
Stanton Chase announces the opening of a new office in Adelaide, South Australia, led by Karlis Antons and Fiona Lavan.
This expansion into South Australia marks an important step in Stanton Chase’s strategic growth in the Asia-Pacific region. Australia’s economy features a strong domestic market on the east coast, dominated by financial services, education, life sciences, and FMCG-based manufacturing. The western third of the continent is characterized by outward-facing export industries such as agriculture, fisheries, natural resources, and energy.
Fiona Lavan, Managing Partner of Stanton Chase in Australia, commented, “Our expansion into South Australia enhances our ability to serve global clients in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, agricultural technology, space and defense, health and medical technology, and renewable energy sectors. We’re pioneering the recognition of these crucial business segments in the region.”
New Adelaide-based Partner, Karlis Antons, brings over 20 years of experience in corporate talent acquisition, HR business partnering, and global retained executive search. His career spans six continents and various industries, including roles at Netflix and BHP. Most recently, he served as Head of Global Talent Acquisition and Inclusion at Fleet Space Technologies, a space-tech scale-up.
Antons has cultivated expertise and a global network across mining and natural resources, space and advanced technologies, energy and renewables, studio production and entertainment, industrial and infrastructure, biotech and life sciences, and consumer sectors.
“Joining Stanton Chase and expanding into South Australia is an exciting opportunity,” said Antons. “This world-class firm is now better positioned to conduct local and international searches across key sectors from our new Adelaide office. I look forward to collaborating with the international team in the productive years ahead.”
Stanton Chase Adelaide opened on 16 September 2024.
