Signium Announces New Life Sciences Practice Group Leader

Signium is pleased to announce that Consuelo Pizzo, Director in Signium Italy’s Milan office, has taken over the role of Life Sciences Global Practice Leader.

Her first meeting as group leader took place at Signium's October Annual General Meeting in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Since joining Signium, Consuelo has been an active member of the Life Sciences Practice. Consuelo is a philosophy graduate and developed her career in pharmaceutical consultancy before joining Korn Ferry, where she spent five years. She then joined the Transearch network and stayed there for almost five years, in the end leading that firm’s global Life Sciences Practice.

Consuelo takes over from Signium Germany's Angela Westdorf. Angela co-founded the Practice in 2008, taking sole leadership in 2013, and her success in building it over the years has been truly outstanding. Angela was instrumental in Signium being appointed to global frame agreements with industry leaders Merck and Fresenius, and she has led the Practice with infectious enthusiasm and incredible tenacity. Angela will continue as a Signium Board member and as part of this role will act as coach and mentor across all Practice Groups.
