Sheffield Haworth Expands Insurance and Technology Sector Practices

Sheffield Haworth has added two new managing directors in it's global insurance and technology practices.

Erik Matson joins Sheffield Haworth as managing director in it's global insurance practice. Erik will lead the firm’s service offering across this industry segment. He will focus on advising and execution of Board, CEO and senior team mandates for clients, based in the New York office.

Prior to joining Sheffield Haworth, Erik most recently performed senior level advisory work, including helping another executive search firm establish an insurance capability. He has extensive P&C primary insurance, wholesale/broker markets, global reinsurance markets, capital markets & investment management/insurance asset management and distribution experience.

John Budriss joins the firm as managing director within the Technology and Operations practice and a member of the Corporate Officers practice, in New York.

John has over 17 years of experience in a number of recruiting and talent acquisition roles as well as experience in the search industry. Prior to joining Sheffield Haworth, John worked at Boyden Executive Search as a Partner focused on recruiting technology and fintech executives. He joined Boyden after spending several years managing the talent acquisition function at both Bloomberg LP and Thomson Reuters Inc. John is a proud veteran of the United States Army Reserve.
