Saxton Bampfylde Appoints Mary Few as Edinburgh Partner
Executive search firm Saxton Bampfylde has appointed Mary Few as a partner in Edinburgh.
Originally from Aberdeenshire, Few recently returned from three years in Burma, where she set up and ran the operations for West Indochina, a leading search business in Myanmar. Prior to that, she worked for a City executive search firm specialising in insurance.
Peta Hay, head of Scottish operations at Saxton Bampfylde, said Few's appointment will help the firm expand its connections and network.
“The market in Scotland continues to demand the very highest calibre of senior candidates from an increasingly wider pool at a national and international level,” she added. “Having Mary on board to help enhance our search capabilities and service offering is a very positive move for us as we continue to grow the business.”
Founder and chairman Stephen Bampfylde said Few's track record “speaks for itself," "We are delighted to have her on board as she returns home to Scotland with her family,” he said. “With her experience at a national and international level, as well as her multi-lingual capabilities, we believe she will bring a very interesting perspective to search in the Scottish market.”
Saxton Bampfylde has been working across many sectors in Scotland for the past 30 years, and opened its first dedicated Scottish operation in 2014.
It has most recently been involved in filling senior leadership posts at Standard Life, George Heriot's School, the Scottish Government, National Trust for Scotland, National Galleries of Scotland and University of Aberdeen.
