Russell Reynolds Associates Hires Masahiro Kishida
Russell Reynolds Associates announced that Masahiro Kishida has joined the firm, leading the Tokyo office, and is a core member of the Board & CEO Advisory Partners and Private Equity Practice. Kishida joins Russell Reynolds Associates with more than 20 years of management consulting experience. He is a trusted advisor to both Japanese and multinational clients, partnering with C-suite executives and boards to deliver solutions to complex challenges faced by leadership teams.

Kishida joins Russell Reynolds Associates from Kearney, a leading global management consultancy, where he led the Japan business and was a member of the firm’s board of directors. During his tenure, he advised influential Japanese companies on corporate strategy, business strategy, leadership development, M&A and transformation, and he supported private equity clients on M&A and the upvalue of their portfolio companies. Prior to joining Kearney, he was a partner at Booz & Company/Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led the firm’s Japan business and served as a member of its professional standards committee, and was as well a partner at Roland Berger. He started his career at Parco, a shopping mall developer, leading marketing activities in Japan and town revitalization projects in Southeast Asia before working at The Japan Research Institute as a Business Consultant.
Kishida holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University, where he earned the title of Stern Scholar.
