Russell Reynolds Associates Hires Gifford Foley

Russell Reynolds Associates announced that Gifford "Giff" Foley has joined the firm as a member of the Industrial team and as part of the Energy and Natural Resources Practice. Based in New York, Foley advises and recruits senior C-suite executives for international companies in the industrial and natural resources fields.

"Having worked in a highly regulated industry at a top investment bank, Giff brings valuable know-how to advising senior executives on complex issues. His expertise in the volatile fields of finance and energy will enable us to better assist our clients as they navigate the increasing challenges of global commerce." 

Foley joins the firm from Goldman Sachs, where he was a Vice President in the Investment Banking Division. There, he led M&A and financings for natural resources and industrial clients. He also led the financial sponsor coverage effort for the midstream sector. Prior to that, he was with the Alumni Capital Network, an operationally focused private equity firm that invests in middle market companies. Earlier in his career, Foley served in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he led anti-terrorism operations.

Foley holds a B.A. in English from Colgate University and an M.B.A. with distinction from Cornell University.
