The People at Work: ‘Intelligent Leader Series - Leading Change In A Fractured World’
The People At Work is pleased to launch “Leading Change in a Fractured World” in Manila. This will be held at New World Hotel, Makati City on 13 September 2018.
Conducted by Dean Williams, a much sought after leadership expert and speaker in both private & public sectors and a successful author of two best-selling books, Dean will discuss and share the kinds of leadership needed to navigate today’s crazy world. Setting aside traditional leadership concepts, he challenges leaders to apply creative problem solving and adaptive change by building networks of people and crossing boundaries. Leaders will be compelled to think differently about managing self as an instrument of power, and keeping the self from fracturing.
Dean is the author of “Real Leadership: Helping People and Organizations Face Their Toughest Challenges.” His latest book is, “Leadership for a Fractured World: How to Cross Boundaries, Build Bridges, and Lead Change.”
Today, Dean directs The Global Change Agent executive education Program at Harvard University, and also runs his own leadership development firm. He conducted extensive research with Aetna Life and Casualty in the United States, with the Matsushita School in Japan, and with the Government of Brunei in South East Asia. While living in Borneo, Dean studied adaptation and change with indigenous tribes.
Said Cesar Ginete, CEO of The People at Work in Philippines: “We are excited to have Dean headline this seminar as he has vast and rich knowledge in leadership gained across so many cultures and environments, both private and public. This seminar would be an excellent occasion for the business leaders here to hear about ideas which challenge current concepts of leadership and how they can better respond to today’s challenges”.
Join The People at Work on this first-time ever, 1-day only, opportunity on 13 Sep at New World Hotel, Makati City. Meet other C-level executives and our sponsors at this pre-eminent leadership learning event.
