Penrhyn Appoints New Global Chairman and Board Director

Penrhyn has announced the appointment of Michael Herst as its new Chairman, together with Charles Lew as a new Director to the Board, following their nomination and election during the Penrhyn International AGM in Paris earlier this month.

Mr. Herst - a partner at U.K. member Osprey Clarke, has played an active role since joining the Penrhyn Board in 2012, including periods as both Treasurer and Vice Chairman.

Mr. Herst’s career started in accountancy, where he gained commercial and corporate experience working in the profession, and as Head of Finance of a major international shipping group. He transferred his business knowledge into executive search, where over the past 30 years he has enjoyed a varied career.

In addition to his business interests, he is proud to be a trustee of Haven House Children's Hospice; an important UK charity that supports families and cares for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.
