Odgers Berndtson Continues Growth with the Appointment of New Partner Rupert Lion
Rupert Lion joins Odgers Berndtson U.S. amid expansion of the firm’s Technology Practice and Scale Up Collective.
Odgers Berndtson, a global leadership advisory firm operating in 32 countries, announced today the appointment of Rupert Lion as Partner, Technology Practice and Head of Scale Up Collective U.S.
Rupert, based in Austin, Texas, will leverage his experience as a former Senior Technology Partner at a global executive search and consulting firm to help early-stage and growth-stage companies, private-equity backed businesses, and tech organizations identify top talent to drive their strategic goals and growth.
In addition, Rupert will head the Scale Up Collective in the U.S., a group that supports the talent agenda through board builds and leadership hiring for investor backed businesses. A former tech entrepreneur and founder, he is experienced in navigating the complexities specific to the technology industry. Furthermore, in his role as Managing Partner at a highly regarded tech boutique and organizational strategy firm, he regularly served clients across the tech sector, focusing on private equity investors, venture capitalists, and scale-ups. His earlier professional experiences include working in strategy consulting for global firms Deloitte, OC&C, and Morgan Stanley.

A chartered accountant, Rupert holds a Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University.
