MondouxRollins Partners Announces New Awards Program and Summit to Recognize and Celebrate Transformational Board Governance in Canadian Private Companies for the First Time
Canadian Executive Search Firm MondouxRollins Partners Inc. today announces the launch of Canada’s Best Private Boards, a new annual awards program and summit that will recognize the impact of great governance specifically on the performance of private companies in Canada.
“Board governance, in this country, has been overwhelmingly focused on publicly traded companies, crown corporations or not-for-profit associations. In 2024, we’re changing that,” said Jennifer Mondoux, Chief Executive Officer of MondouxRollins Partners Inc.
“Privately held SMEs drive the Canadian economy, and boards – both fiduciary and advisory – are increasingly becoming the strategic engines of those organizations. Great governance drives performance and it’s time to recognize that excellence,” said Mondoux.
Also known as “The Boardies”, Canada’s Best Private Boards will focus on mid-market, founder-led, family-run, employee-owned and/or PE and VC-backed organizations, that have developed, led and fine-tuned their boards to help drive the success of their organizations.
Nominations are now open until January 15th, 2024. From there, nominees will be asked to make a submission which will be reviewed by the program’s voting committee. Winners will be announced in June 2024 and celebrated on November 6th, 2024, in Toronto, at The Canada’s Best Private Boards’ Summit.
