Johnson Partners Announce Appointment of Kate Harper and Jack Gooding as Partners of The Firm
Kate Harper joins Johnson Partners following 20 years’ experience in board consulting and executive search across London and Sydney. Kate will join the firm’s Board Practice and follows the acquisition of the Boardroom Partners business in 2020. With these recent additions, our firm has developed one of the region’s leading board advisory and board search practices.
Most recently Kate led the Board Practice at Vine Partners and has experience at global firms Russell Reynolds and Egon Zehnder. I’m particularly pleased to have Kate re-join the firm as we worked together at Johnson Partners for over five years in its earlier incarnation. Prior to her search career, Kate spent 12 years in Investment Banking working in Sydney and London.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney and a Master of Laws from Cambridge. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Kate sits on the Nominations and Assessment Committee of Amnesty International Australia and is a member of the Council of St. Andrew’s College, Sydney University.
Jack Gooding joins Johnson Partners following over 10 years of global executive search experience supporting major financial institutions and professional services firms to appoint senior risk and compliance executives in the UK, Central Europe, the Americas, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Jack brings a particularly deep specialization in Operations, Risk, Regulatory, Data, Culture and Fraud. Jack joins us from Oceans Group where he led the financial services and professional services practices. Jack commenced his search career with Armstrong Wolfe in the UK where he primarily supported global banks to build capability in the risk and compliance functions.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Sciences and in his earlier career was a semi-professional football player and founded and led a coaching business.
The appointments of Kate and Jack further build our client-centric proposition and make a clear step towards being the premier board advisory and search firm across Australia and New Zealand.
