JM Search Hires Derrick Stewart as Principal
JM Search, a premier retained executive search firm, today announces the hiring of Derrick Stewart as a Principal in the firm’s growing Technology Practice. Stewart will work alongside Partner and Professional Services Practice Leader, Ben Millrood, to further expand the firm’s team dedicated to identifying and recruiting critical leadership for professional services businesses within the technology sector.
Derrick brings nearly 20 years of recruiting experience placing leaders across both technology professional services and IT/technology verticals. Prior to JM Search, Stewart served as Director of Executive Recruitment for Daugherty Business Solutions, a private technology professional services consultancy. He comes from a retained executive search background where he spent the first half of his career serving in multiple recruiting roles with DHR Global and McCarthy & McNeil.
As the technology sector continues to grow more complex and competitive, JM Search is committed to increasing niche specialization across the sector, including within professional services. Stewart will join a seasoned team at JM Search, including former professional services leaders and experienced recruiters, to place IT leaders across technology strategy, systems integration, and managed services companies, as well as consulting leadership roles for SaaS technology firms.
