Gerard Daniels Appoints New Head for Sydney Operations

Gerard Daniels has announced that Geoff Curran will take over the leadership of its Sydney office. Geoff will be leading a local team that brings together a broad range of sector specialisms and experience and will report directly to the firm’s CEO, Alison Gaines.

Geoff brings over 30 years of experience in executive search to the role, spanning right across the Asia Pacific region. With a depth of hands-on experience in senior executive leadership roles, as well as having founded and run his own successful firm, Geoff’s relationships, knowledge and entrepreneurial drive covers a broad variety of sectors including resources, health, aged care and disability services. His substantial functional expertise runs across general management, data and analytics, sales and marketing, operations, finance and customer management.

Geoff has deep experience of the healthcare sector and this will be his key focus, building on the extensive work Gerard Daniels already undertakes in this sector. As well he will also be engaging with clients in professional associations, members-based organisations and government – areas where Gerard Daniels has a long standing practice.

Having worked as a trusted adviser across a broad range of clients, Geoff has extensive experience working with both listed, private and not-for-profit organisations. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia.
