Curran Partners Inc. Announce New Partner

Curran Partners Inc. has announced a new partner. Robert F. Obst, a long-time client of the firm in his capacity as head of human resources for MacroGenics, Inc. and, previously, MedImmune, Inc.

Bob brings significant experience in successfully building life sciences organizations to his role as Partner. Most recently he was the chief human resources and facilities officer for MacroGenics, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company in Rockville, Maryland.

Prior to MacroGenics Bob was the chief human resources executive leading MedImmune’s (now AstraZeneca) growth from early-stage development through regulatory approval and commercial launch. He established the human resources function at both MedImmune and MacroGenics. Earlier in his career he held human resources positions with American Cyanamid (now Pfizer), SmithKline Beckman (now GlaxoSmithKline), and W.R. Grace.

Bob holds a B.A. in Sociology from the State University of New York at Albany and an M.B.A. from Pace University.
