Buffkin/Baker Celebrates 20 Years

Buffkin/Baker, a national retained search firm, is celebrating its 20th anniversary with an open house in their Nashville office.

Buffkin Baker was started in September 1999 by Craig Buffkin. The firm has grown from a single person office to having offices in Nashville, Tenn., New York, Washington, DC, and Winston-Salem, N.C., with affiliate offices in London and San Francisco. Buffkin / Baker has 13 partners and a team of 11 support staff.

Craig Buffkin, founder and managing partner, gave these reflections on the past 20 years:

“We have been blessed to work with great clients and a world-class team of partners and associates. We have made our share of mistakes in 20 years, but those mistakes have molded our firm based on a few core fundamentals – transparency, agility and integrity. We have continued to sharpen our focus around health care, higher education, digital/data/analytics, media/entertainment/sports and non profit.
