Boyden Elects New Directors to Global Board in Support of Market Growth
Boyden announced two new members of its Global Board, elected at Boyden’s annual partner meeting in Frankfurt.
Carita Lahti, a Managing Partner in Boyden Finland and member of the firm’s Global CEO & Board Services Practice, was elected as a new board member and will serve as Boyden’s EMEA Regional Director. Robert Travis, a Managing Partner in Canada and the United States and Leader of Boyden’s Global Industrial Practice, was also elected as a board member and will serve as the firm’s Americas Regional Director.

Carita Lahti, EMEA Director and Board Member: As a key member of the Global Consumer & Retail, Industrial, and CEO & Board Services Practices, Lahti leads board and C-level searches, as well as conducting board and leadership consulting assignments. Her client portfolio comprises national and international organizations of all sizes, including publicly listed, family-owned, private equity- and venture capital-owned concerns. She holds a master’s degree in sociology from Helsinki University and a licentiate of technology from the Helsinki University of Technology.
Robert Travis, Americas Director and Board Member: Travis, who previously served three terms as a Boyden Board Member from 2007 to 2013, serves as Leader of Boyden’s Global Industrial Practice. He is a Managing Partner in both Canada and the U.S., and focuses primarily on the manufacturing, fabrication, energy/energy services and technology sectors.A citizen of both Canada and the U.S., he is attuned to the subtle differences in leadership requirements in each country, and specializes in serving clients with business interests in both markets. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Stetson University in Florida.
