Amrop Welcomes Lida Dai in China

Lida has a proven track record in B2B sales/marketing and business development. For over 20 years in China and Asia Pacific, she has grown businesses and accomplished projects across the chemical and material science value chains including MNC/POE corporate, government, academic & associations. Lida is an expert in strategic planning, business re-engineering, and cultivating people in innovation. Sustainability as a key leadership competency is one topic she puts continuous energy to strive.

Prior to Amrop, Lida worked as a consultant with Chinese entrepreneurs and their leadership teams in PE buyouts, management and strategy consulting, training and coaching of business/sales team in the fields of industries, KAM and beyond. Lida has been one of the earliest certified CMOs in Shanghai CMO Association since 2004, and to stay abreast with New Economy topics she recently credited herself with certifications in Blockchain, Big Data / Cloud Computing from online universities.

Previously, in her 18 progressive years with Bayer and BASF, she managed sales, KAM, marketing, global and regional projects, internal consulting programs and commercial leadership with multi-roles across a broad variety of industries. As global BD director with Ecogreen, a listed POE, she grew start-ups and facilitated M&A cases. Throughout her career, Lida has been an exponent of equal opportunities and female leadership.

Born in Shanghai, Lida lived and grew up in various provinces in China, and acquired Hong Kong residency in 2007. Her life path plants her roots in China west, north, east and then south. Her homes are now HK and Shenzhen where she has lived for over 10 years. She earned a BA in English Literature from Shanghai International Studies University and a MA in Business Studies from Leeds Beckett University. Married with two sons, she enjoys learning new technology with youngsters.
