More About SearchAlert
AESC’s SearchAlert allows you to submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) by entering the details about your organization and the specifications of your executive search assignment. SearchAlert matches your criteria with suitable AESC member search firms, then e-mails details of your assignment to those firms to notify them of your search needs. Those firms who would like to be considered to fulfill your search will contact you directly with their proposals — detailing their interest, qualifications for the project and information about their firm. You may then select a firm(s) with whom you wish to discuss matters further.
All firms and consultants who contact you via SearchAlert are retained executive search firms who are AESC Members, and subscribe to the AESC Code of Ethics and Professional Practice Guidelines. (See below for a brief definition of retained executive search consulting.)
All of your information will be kept confidential and will only be shared with member firms that meet your criteria.
The SearchAlert RFP service is a complimentary service of the AESC.

Retained executive search consulting is a specialized form of senior-level management consulting, conducted through an exclusive engagement and on a pre-determined retainer fee basis. Its purpose is to assist executives of a client organization in defining executive positions, identifying well-qualified and motivated candidates, and selecting those best suited through comprehensive, quality assured search processes.
Executive search is widely-recognized as an indispensable service to organizations worldwide and is generally built on relationships rather than discrete transactions. The services provided by executive search consultants are an integral part of the process of building and maintaining corporate, nonprofit and government organizations. Like professionals in the fields of law, public accounting and general management consulting, executive search consultants have a profound influence on the organizations they serve.
